Our Services

Who We Are

The Delaware Public Health District is multi-faceted, covering all angles of public health to ensure residents are safe, healthy and happy. Our services — ranging from immunizations, booster assessments, plumbing inspections and everything in between — have helped boost Delaware County to be ranked the Healthiest County in Ohio in 2010, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 based on a study conducted by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and The University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute.

Clinic Services

The Delaware Public Health District provides clinical services at our 3 West Winter location and others throughout the health district at convenient times and at affordable prices. We strive to offer services in support of our Board priorities and our agency mission of fostering, protecting and improving the health and the environment of our residents and our community. Appointments are available for most clinical services. Call 740-203-2040 to make an appointment.

Community Services

Access to healthcare and other assistance programs are important to the overall health and well-being of our community. The Health District provides referrals to a number of community resources. These programs may provide food, medical care and financial assistance, among others. For general assistance in finding help for a variety of needs, HelpLine (Dial 211) has information on most agencies/programs in the county.

Licensing Services

The Licensing Services unit is a vital resource to those who own or rent a dwelling in the Delaware Public Health District. The work completed by Licensing Services sanitarians decreases the chance for disease transmission through our water supply, from vectors such as mosquitoes and ticks, and from animal bites.
