Delaware, OH – The Delaware Public Health District’s Keep Delaware County Beautiful program, in partnership with the Village of Ashley, is pleased to announce a community painting event on September 14, 2024. Community members and volunteers are invited to join in on this meaningful project that focuses on revitalizing the village’s municipal building with a fresh coat of paint.
 
Event Details:

  • Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
  • Location: 3 N. Harrison Street, Ashley, OH 
Volunteers will assist with painting and cleanup efforts. All necessary materials, including paint and brushes, will be provided. Participants are advised to dress in weather-appropriate attire that can be stained. No prior painting experience is required—only a willingness to contribute and work collaboratively. Volunteers aged 12 and older are welcome, and families or groups are encouraged to participate together.

In the event of inclement weather, a rain date has been set for September 21.
 
The Keep Delaware County Beautiful program is an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, Inc., promoting Delaware County recycling. The KDCB Coalition provides recycling and litter prevention activities and environmental education programs to the residents and businesses of Delaware County. This painting project was funded in part by a grant provided by Keep Ohio Beautiful and The Sherwin-Williams Company.
