Environmental Law Enforcement Training Workshop

DELAWARE, Oh. – Delaware County law enforcement officers, prosecutors, sanitarians, solid waste professionals, and city and county officials are invited to an informative workshop that details the illegal side of littering, scrap metal theft and safety surrounding meth labs.

The workshop will occur on Nov. 4 at Genoa Township Hall in Westerville with a registration cost of $35. Attendees will learn more about the laws and effects that littering, including illegal dumping and scrap tire dumps, has on the quality of life and on taxpayer dollars.

Lunch will be provided for attendees along with Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and Continuing Legal Education (CLEs). Registered sanitarians and sanitarians in training can receive 5.0 CEUs, solid waste professionals can receive 5.0 CEUs and legal professionals can receive 5.0 CLEs.
