Clinic Services

The Delaware General Health District provides clinical services at our 3 West Winter location and others throughout the health district at convenient times and at affordable prices. We strive to offer services in support of our board priorities and our agency mission of fostering, protecting and improving the health and the environment of our residents and our community.

The Delaware General Health District offers immunizations on-site and various locations county-wide. Most Medicaid and private plans are accepted, and some are available on a sliding scale.


Women, Infants, Children is a supplemental nutrition program that provides breastfeeding support and select nutritional foods to eligible participants at no cost.

Newborn home visits

Bringing baby home can be daunting; let us help with the transition through our Newborn Home Visiting Program.

Communicable Disease

One of the roles of the Delaware General Health District is to prevent and control the spread of disease.

Bureau for Children with Medical Handicaps

In partnership with the Ohio Department of Health, the BCMH program is a priority for DGHD.

School clinics

Our registered nurses visit schools around Delaware County to provide children with required immunizations and seasonal flu shots.

Neighborhood clinics

The Delaware General Health District registered nurses provide a variety of free health services at various In Your Neighborhood locations around the county.

Naloxone program

Worried that someone you know may overdose on an opioud? We are now a provider of Project DAWN Naloxone, an opioid overdose reversal medication.
